It turns out to be very useful for all sorts of things. (We'll get to that...)Pros: - Compact, very small - Light weight - Can be mounted to trip pod - NTSC or PAL versions available - Operates off of two AA batteries (Alkaline, Lithium, OR NiMH[!]) Cons: - Eye strain, it's very small internal screen leads to eye straing, similar to Night Vision Equipment - It EATS Alkaline batteries (maybe 2 hours of use), so you really need to have a stash of NiMH (2400mAh type) or Lithium AA batteries - Accessories for this item area difficult to find (video cable, external power adapater) - If using NiMH batteries, the external adapater WILL NOT charge the batteries - The video cable is PROPRIETARY, meaning you HAVE to purches the L3 cable.
